Sometimes, The Nerdery Public will run content created by our loyal readers and our friends out there in the geek blogosphere. If you have an idea for a post that you think would be a great fit for the NP, we’d love to hear about it!

We accept reader submissions for the following sections:

Nerdery Publications (General interest nerdy topics.)

Memoirs of a Geeksha (Being and becoming a geek girl.)

Breed Geeks (Sharing nerd culture with future generations.)

Gaming Addicts Anonymous (Video, tabletop and RPG gaming anecdotes.)

TOPIC APPROVAL: Contact us with your idea for an original topic you’d like to write about for the NP, along with a brief abstract of what you plan to write. Once we approve your topic, we’ll put you into our schedule and tell you the week in which your article will run.

To submit your topic idea, please send an e-mail to: or contact us on Twitter @NerderyPublic.

ARTICLE SUBMISSION: Once your topic is approved and added to the schedule, the deadline to turn in a final draft of your post will be the Sunday evening before your work is scheduled to be posted. Articles should be between 500 and 1,000 words, spell checked and reviewed for grammar prior to submission. You should also include information about how you would like to be credited for your work (i.e. first name only, full name or pseudonym) and a link to your website, blog or Twitter to be included with your article. Your post will be reviewed for content by a member of the Nerdery staff and posted any day within the scheduled week.

If you’re not a writer, but are just dying to see the NP cover a subject near and dear to your heart, please feel free to get in touch with us as well! One of our staff would be thrilled to take a crack at any reasonable topic suggestion and if they aren’t thrilled, the C’thulu Cultists will make them do it anyway.

We are also always looking for artists to draw panels for our “So…This Happened.” comic. If you have artistic talent and time to spare, get in touch with us ASAP!
